Cake designer distillate is the house oil behind most of the range — a refined distillate blended with strain-specific terpenes rather than left flavourless. It is what gives the line its consistency: the same strain tastes the same across devices, which is not true of every brand at this price.

Designer distillate sits between plain distillate and the resin lines. Plain distillate is stripped of nearly everything except the cannabinoid, so flavour has to be added back. Cryo cured and live resin keep the plant’s own terpenes from the start, which reads heavier and more complex. Designer distillate aims at the middle — cleaner and smoother than resin, with far more character than untreated distillate.
